Photograph (which seems to be a page out of book, so the quality is quite poor) of Rodgett Infirmary, which was used for residents who were ill. On the back of the image is a caption stating that the photograph was taken in 1915. (© Lancashire County Museums Service Ref. LMRAH 312.2)
On October 29th 1880 Mr Edward Rodgett had his offer of £4,000 for the building of an Infirmary accepted. Nearly 2 years later, on September 27th 1882, Rodgett Infirmary was opened by the Right Hon.
